For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, autumn has officially made its entrance. With that comes more time indoors—but when you have the opportunity to lounge about on iconic mid-century furniture whilst dressed to the nines, it's hard to complain.

This time of year is often dubbed the "transitional period"—which is just a fancier way of saying the weather can’t decide what it’s doing. That means it is time to master the art of layering so you can throw on an extra layer when the boiler falters, or lose a few when the fire's blazing. Being ready for whatever the season throws your way is essential, so without further ado, please be seated for a UW lesson in transitional dressing.
