Universal Works has friends and partners all over the world, but for our latest collaboration we headed a little closer to home, to Bolton and the factory of British footwear maker Walsh.

Together, we have revisited three classic Walsh styles, each in three colourways: the Ensign, Tornado and Cobra (renamed the Cob, after the Nottingham term for a bread roll), taking something from the past and giving it a contemporary Universal Works feel.
