TAION x Universal Works. ”Reversed.”

Our collaboration with inner down-wear experts TAION celebrates the meeting of Japanese and British culture. A shared curiosity that runs through the collection itself, with each piece reversible—two sides to every story.

The line-up brings together classic shapes from both brands. From UW: an oversized Parka and the Kyoto Work Jacket. From TAION: a crew neck jacket, zip vest, and neck warmer. Each piece is available in black, navy, or olive, with a houndstooth print on the reverse.

The collaboration shoot plays with the concept of reversibility through a British lens. A day spent wandering through town is captured as the world around moves in reverse; a simple and playful exploration of time and perspective.

Forwards or backwards, much like the clothes themselves, both sides work just as well. British side, Japanese side. Past and future. Front and back. In the end, it all comes back to the same idea: Peace, Love and Soul.
