Lockdown Listening: C r i s, The Netherlands.

One thing that unites us all and keeps us inspired and motivated, especially in a time of crisis, is the love for music. We asked a few of our stockists and fellow music lovers to share what tracks are keeping them sane during the lockdown.

C R I S was established in 1999 at Mariaplaats in Utrecht.
The store is named after its founder and buyer Chris, the third generation of the Ravenhorst family to run a menswear store.
Chris works with a small team of dedicated people, Dan and Tjeerd, who have been involved with the store for many years. Everyone plays a role in the store, presenting a unique selection every season.
They have been friends and stockists of ours since 2015, seeing each other at least twice a year in Florence, each time on a Friday morning, for cappuccinos, hugs, and laughs (and of course some work !)

What is your all-time favourite “feel good” track to listen to?
Donna Summer – I Feel Love 12’, for sure. Do we have to say more?

Any musician or DJ you would love to see perform once the quarantine is over?
We would like to see IAMDDB, a British female rapper with great lyrics combined with stunning beats. Unfortunately she ‘missed’ her flight, so she couldn’t perform at Lowlands (Dutch festival) last summer.

What are your go-to garments to wear during lockdown?
Any Track Trouser by Universal Works combined with some Japanese socks by RoToTo. As for a top, we are loving this cosy knitted merino sweater by 7d, a small artisan menswear brand from Belgium.
