The people who take UW global.

What makes these gatherings is the people. Well-dressed goes without saying. Many have been part of the Universal Works story for the better part of its journey, and it shows.

June marks the moment we gather our national and international sales agents in our showroom, offering a first introduction to the next collection, that they then present to their customers.

It is an opportunity to experience the fabrics, shapes, and underlying inspirations at close quarters, shared directly by our designers and founders. From here, the collection begins its journey across showrooms, trade fairs and stores around the world.

While the focus is on building a deeper understanding of the collection, these gatherings are equally about connection: a chance to catch up, exchange ideas, and spend time with the extended Universal Works family who represent us around the world.

There is always business to be done, but just as important are these in-between moments a time to catch up properly, to talk things through, and to spend time together as a group that continues to grow, season after season.

From the showroom, we headed to the pub, before continuing on to dinner aboard a canal boat in Paddington. Excellent food, familiar faces, and a few new ones, all coming together over the course of the evening.

It carried on much as you would expect; a bit of dancing, a fair amount of singing along, and by the end, things not quite as tidy as they’d begun.
